Congratulations to Atlanta Skydiving Center Instructor Chuck Owen (pictured right) who took 1st place at last week's canopy swooping meet in Florida. The ASC crew ran away with the meet as Tyler Lawson finished 2nd, Jim Vance 4th, Kenny Pugh 5th, Bruno Asmann 6th and Dan McAllister 7th. ASC skydivers are becoming well known for their canopy skills at these meets. Nice job guys!

ASC skydivers Gunnar Jeannette and Michael Blankinship celebrated jump numbers 400 and 700 with a "Double Danger Tube Dive" organized by Team One this past weekend. Team One has built several "tubes" for freefly dives and are working on more.

The She-Male contest on Saturday night had to be one of the best things to happen at ASC this year. David Fowler aka Red Rocket took home Miss ASC Drag 2005 for his outfit and dancing talent. David also won 4 free lift tickets from ASC. Adam aka Ashley and SunMan aka Honey Rough Knees, finished second and third. Ashley really looked like a girl and his singing was amazing. A big thanks to the other participants for making the She-Male contest one of the funniest nights ever at ASC! Ron Stamey aka Johanna Rowwanna, Gunnar aka Gunnar's girlfriend and Brian Ward aka Black Sugar Mama all put on quite the show!

ASC packer Samantha Lewis celebrated her birthday on Thursday by completing her last three levels of the student Accelerated Free Fall program without a hitch! Way to go Samantha! Aaron Ritchie completed his A License requirements on the same day. Woohoo!
