At Atlanta Skydiving Center - We Are Off!
At Atlanta Skydiving Center, the season is off and running with the Good Vibes Boogie proving to be a huge success. Friends from across the country gathered to enjoy good vibes and great times.
Johan Meurer set the record Saturday night, riding the mechanical bull 63 times!
Jimmy Tranter (pictured right) organized all weekend, putting together some awesome tracking dives, as well as some challenging free fly jumps.
The weekend was a huge success with over 100 people registered for the Boogie. If you missed it, we hope to see you next year.
Inviscid, who did some relative work organizing during the boogie, will be training over the next couple of weeks. However, April 29th and 30th, the team will take a break from their training schedule and will be offering organizing to those who would like to challenge themselves with some belly jumps.
Also in April, The Breakfast Club of Canopy Piloting (BCCP) will kick off on the 13th. The BCCP, which began April 1, 2004, gives canopy pilots the opportunity to hone their canopy skills by focusing on Hop and Pops rather than free fall. Everyone is encouraged to attend at least one of these meetings. They will be held on weekdays once a month throughout the summer. Come get a quick jump in before work and become a BCCP member April 13th at 8:00 a.m. Sign up at Manifest or call the drop zone.
As stated in the beginning, Atlanta Skydiving Center is off and running. The days are getting longer and the weather is beautiful. With $15 Wednesdays and Free Gear Rental Thursdays, the summer is going to rock. Come enjoy Atlanta Skydiving Center's climate controlled packing, pond, and awesome observation deck.
See you soon!
