The GSL is at Atlanta Skydiving Center!
We've been talking about it for weeks, but the GSL is finally at Atlanta Skydiving Center this weekend!
This Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21, ASC will host Round 3 of the GSL. The event will be divided into intermediate and advanced levels and will consist of four to six rounds. A free video slot will be given to each 4-way team that participates.
On Thursday, May 18, come out and join us for our monthly Breakfast Club of Canopy Piloting (BCCP) meeting. We will be meeting at 8 a.m. to start the day right! All skill levels are welcome. Coaching and video debriefing is free of charge for all canopy pilots looking to improve their skills. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday!
This weekend, Jimmy "Preacherman" Teeple will be hosting Jump-N-For Jesus Boogie. Come join Jimmy and friends for jumps and live Christian music Saturday night.
On May 27, Atlanta Skydiving Center will host a Distance Swoop Competition for intermediate swoopers. The competition will consist of 4 rounds. $60 will cover the entry fee as well as jumps for the comp.
CPC Competitors

This past weekend, ASC was proud to see a handful of our swoopers participate in the CPC competition that took place on Saturday. Joey Day, Michael Blankinship, Junior Ludvik, Jesse Watson, Dan McAllister, Brian Ward, Vitaliy Tubesteakvesky (pictured right), and Noah Bahnson all showed off their skills in the competition. Visit

Last Week.

Last week at Atlanta Skydiving Center, tandem students, Tara Brown and Dan Sikes got engaged on the plane before they each made their first skydive! Congratulations Dan and Tara!
Joe Silvia (pictured right), a packer here at ASC, made his first solo skydive after completing AFF last week! There was also a new experienced jumper at the dropzone -
Joe Krummert returned to the sport after seven years away. We know we will be seeing him frequently over the summer!

There will be a new graduate at Atlanta Skydiving Center this week, but not the kind you would expect. Connor Weeks, son of Katie Hawkins, graduated from Pre-school on Thursday! Everyone at ASC was just as excited to see Connor graduate as he was! Congratulations Connor! You are now ready to conquer the next decade-and-a-half of education that lies ahead of you!
