Congrats To Our Newest A-License Recipients

Lance Frazier, Billy Pirtle, and Annette McClave received their A-licenses this past week. Lance, Billy, and Annette both jumped their own pack jobs to make their A-licenses official. Great job guys! Where is our beer?

CPC championships Are This Weekend

The Canopy Piloting Circuit (CPC) Championships kick off this Saturday in Longmont, Colorado. The competition will bring some of the best amateur swoopers together for over $5000 in prize money and more importantly a chance to become a Pro Swooping Tour Competitor. The top ten athletes will be given their pro cards at the meet. Competitors will do three rounds each of Speed, Distance, and the ultimate equalizer, Zone Accuracy. Having swooped in Colorado, I can tell you these guys will be going faster than they have ever been thanks to an elevation of 5496 feet above sea level.

ASC will be sending some of the best in the country as Noah Bahnson, David "Junior" Ludvik, Joey "Sunman" Day, Jesse Watson, Vitali Tubesteakvesky, as well as, Jessica Edgeington. Jessica now lives in Longmont and will have home field advantage when the battle to see who is the best amateur ensues. Good luck to everyone. We hope to see our six locals in the top ten.

She-Male Boogie August 25-27

It is once again time to drag out the last days of summer. By drag out, I mean guys grab your girlfriend or wife's best dress. It is time for the 2nd annual She Male Boogie. Guys who participate will receive $15 jumps and will compete for the coveted Miss She Male 2006. Participants will have to display their beauty, as well as, talent as this train wreck ensues. Parents cover your children's eyes. It will be anything, but pretty.

Other Events and Happenings

Congratulations to Ben and Tammy Butler who have recently added a new member to their family. Jackson Butler was born on August 9, 2006 at Kennestone Hospital. Jackson is now home spending time with his brother Jordan, who is coming to terms with the fact that his new brother is not a toy.

Water training will be held Friday, August 25, 2006 at St. Ives Apartments in Dallas, Georgia. Those who would like to attend should contact Jesse Watson at the drop zone or call 678-747-1012.
