We are zooming into spring with the Georgia Skydiving League Meet #1 less than a month away. It is time to get tuned up and ready for some 4 way relative work! Atlanta Skydiving Center will be hosting an RW skills camp on Saturday, April 28th. Participants should be at the drop zone by 8:30 am.
The event’s organizers, Mike Gruwell and Anthony Stone, look forward to the opportunity to get teams working on their belly skills. Don’t already have a team? No problem! The event will give jumpers the opportunity to meet others interested in competing and having a lot of fun. All you need to participate is an A-license and $125 (includes 4 jumps and DVD of jumps). If you are interested in attending and would like to RSVP, call 678-747-1014.
Let’s help the Georgia Skydiving League get off to an awesome start. Come out and be a part of all the excitement at Atlanta Skydiving Center!
Southeastern CPC Round #3
The third stop on the Southeastern CPC tour is scheduled to take place this Saturday, April 16, 2007 in Zephyrhills, Florida. Atlanta Skydiving Center is proud to be sending more canopy pilots to participate in the event. Dan McAllister and Ryan Clough are in the chase for the Southeastern CPC championship. Other Atlanta Skydiving Center notables that will be competing in the event include Brian Ward, Nate Fisher, Jesse Watson, and Tyler Lawson.
The CPC gives competitors the opportunity to swoop against other upcoming canopy pilots in the region. Jumpers participate in six rounds including two rounds of distance, two rounds of speed, and two rounds of zone accuracy. Good luck to all participants. To the Atlanta Skydiving Center crew: bring home the belt!
