Congratulations to Jayson and Anthony who graduated
the AFF student program by passing levels 6 and 7 on
Monday. Both graduates not only did well in freefall
but handled the gusty winds under canopy with ease.
It looks like we've hooked Gordon, a 15-jump veteran
of military static-line jumps, on sport skydiving.
Gordon made his first freefall jump on Monday, a
tandem, and took the first-jump ground school that
afternoon.
ASC wished videographer Franzi Utter a safe move to
Los Angeles on Tuesday. Steve-O has stared a new job
in editing out West. The couple has decided to take a
break from full-time skydiving.
Rain and low clouds moved-in to the Atlanta area
Wednesday through Saturday, so we were only to get a
few loads up at ASC for the remainer of the week, but
the sun finally broke through for a good Sunday. It
was great to see Doug Glover's 8-way project Kinetic
Energy out on Saturday dirt diving. We're looking
forward to having the group out as ASC on a regular
basis! The 8-way team will be competing at the 2004
U.S. Nationals.
Check out the picture of Lee's (aka Richard) first
solo jump under a Navigator at ASC last weekend.
Cindi sent this to the drop zone this week. Nice
photo, thanks! And way to go Lee!
