Extras Added to Team One Good Vibes Boogie

Atlanta Skydiving Center's "Team One Good Vibes Boogie" is already getting bigger and better and we're still two weeks away!

Team One's SunMan announced Sunday that the March 25-27 boogie at Atlanta Skydiving Center will now include Sumo Suits and 100 Red-Headed Sluts for after-hours entertainment. GT Airlock announced that it is hosting an RW Skills Day on Saturday, March 26. And boogie participants get free beer and dinner on Saturday night.

The Super Twin Otter and King Air will be flying all weekend long for the 3-day boogie that features $12.50 lift tickets, free organizing/coaching by Team One and a swoop competition hosted by Tyler Lawson. There is a $15 registration fee for the boogie.

High winds put a damper on our USPA Safety Weekend, but many jumpers took time to refresh their emergency skills in our hanging harness. Performance Designs brought out demo reserves while Relative Workshop had its demo Skyhook rig available.
The winds kept many experienced jumpers on the ground, but didn't keep us from having some fun as we set up a skydiver BB gun shooting range with human targets. In addition, it was the debut of the Bigger Better Blythe, Tyler Lawson's wagon wheels were shaking violently, and Mike to the G had his Velocity collapse and spin at 800 feet. Good times.

Ryan Clough made his 500th skydive on a freefly jump and enjoyed a 4-way girl pile-on in the ASC landing area after the jump. Nice job Ryan! He also did his first tandem video this past weekend after using the last few months to set up his camera and practice his video flying skills.

ASC Night Out had its biggest turnout to date at the Taco Mac on the East-West Connector. We're meeting again Thursday for St. Patrick's Day at the same place (7:30 p.m.). Anthony Stone is buying beer for the first 10 skydivers to post on the ASC Night Out thread of the ASC Skydiver Forums. Hurry!

Congratulations to Joey Wilhoit who graduated the Accelerated Free Fall program at ASC this week. He completed levels 6 and 7 in one day without a hitch. Way to go Joey! Our beer fridge has your name all over it. Woohoo!

This weekend looks to be beautiful at Atlanta Skydiving Center so come on out!
