Atlanta Skydiving Center jumper wins complete new rig!

Atlanta Skydiving Center skydiver and manifestor Anne Kohaut has won a complete new rig thanks to the generous sponsors of this year's U.S. Women's 4-way team.

Kim Glover, member of the world champion 4-way team Synchronicity, has been a familiar face around Atlanta Skydiving Center this year helping her husband, Doug Glover, with his 4-way and 8-way teams. The Glovers had raffle tickets on sale throughout the year with all the money earned supporting Synchronicity in its quest to win Gold at the World Meet in Croatia. The team took first at the World Championships last month.

Synchronicity held the drawing at last week's U.S. Nationals in Perris Valley and phoned Anne that night. Anne at first thought it was a joke, but soon discovered otherwise. Ben Butler actually bought the ticket for Anne in hopes she would win the Cypres II to put in her rig. She won the Cypres and much, much more.

Synchronicity will be visiting Atlanta Skydiving Center soon to personally deliver gift certificates for new, free Performance Designs main and reserve canopies, Javelin Odyssey with all options, Cypres II, Tony suit, Sky Systems helmet, Pro Track, Bev suit, Neptune altimeter, gear bag, gloves and a year's supply of Go Fast energy drinks. Congratulations Anne!

Ben Morson made his 200th jump last week during a hybrid skydive with Stewart, Adam, Chuck, Tyler, Scotty, Vitali and Darren. The formation consisted of a 4-way round with two people standing under the formation holding onto chest straps and two videographers. Nice job Benny!

The $12.50 Lift Ticket Boogie at Atlanta Skydiving Center set for Oct. 23rd and 24th just got sweeter as skydiver/gambler Jeff Wills has announced he will be hosting "Casino Night" on Saturday after jumping. There will be a $10 entry fee and you will be required to wear a hat of any kind. The poker champion gets the entry fee pot, four free lift tickets at ASC as well as other prizes. More information will be posted on the ASC Skydiver Forums as we get closer to the event.

While the low clouds and rain held us to a few hop and pop loads on Saturday, we were jumping all week and on Sunday. Come jump with us on $15 Lift Ticket Wednesday!

See you all soon!
