Atlanta Skydiving Center Labor Day Boogie

Labor Day is here! That means football and tailgating. To hell with the football, we want the TAILGATE! ASC is bringing the CASA back this Labor Day weekend for the sweetest boogie of the year. Team one will organize the skydiving and social festivities giving everyone the opportunity for some organizing and coaching. From Tubes to Rafts, we are going to chuck some stuff out of this big bird. Sunset will allow us to combine two of skydivers favorite pastimes, skydiving and drinking, when we do the annual Labor Day Hit and Chug. The winner of the event will be awarded two block jumps. NO SPILLAGE! The evening will continue with a cookout on the hill hosted by our own airport manager, John Mann. Registration for the event is $15. See you there.

To catch everyone up, Team One continued the party and the Good Vibes as they headed to Tecumseh, Michigan. The cult seems to be growing and members reported a real following in the state. Meanwhile, Fast Eddie completed his 100th naked tandem in Rantoul. He is sure to be in Guinness soon. Good job Eddie. Hope they were all women.

Last weekend, Carl made a metamorphisis from lazy South African to Super jump pilot, allowing many jumpers to crank out alot of jumps. Taking advantage of the increased loads, Sunman and Preacherman hit milestones. Sunman made his 900th skydive, while Preacherman prayed his way through his 500th leap of faith. Callie and Crystal (pictured right) passed their A and B licenses respectively. Nice tree landing Callie.

Our newest toy has arrived at the DZ. The 25ft gorilla strikes awe in those whose stand below it. He strikes fear in those who try to swoop him. Come out and see our local canopy pilots swoop this mammoth beast.

Finally, training was underway for one of two ASC teams headed to Nationals. Inviscid completed training on Saturday. They, along with Airlock, will be trying to get on the podium in Perris. Good Luck. Bring home the Gold.

Let's rock the CASA this weekend!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN MCG and Conner!
