RW Skills Days Debuts Saturday at Atlanta Skydiving Center

Atlanta Skydiving Center 4-way formation skydiving team Airlock will hold the first of its weekly "RW Skills Days" this Saturday. These camps are open to skydivers with a minimum A License and will focus on group RW skydiving skills. The coaching by Airlock members is free. The only thing you have to pay for is your lift ticket. Video will be available at an extra fee, if desired.

For more information on the particulars of the RW Skills Days, see the ASC Skydiver Forums or talk to one of the members of Airlock at Atlanta Skydiving Center. The team also has a new web site at www.airlockskydiving.com.

Congratulations to Katie Hawkins and Aaron Teel who earned their AFF Instructor ratings last week! USPA President Glenn Bangs was at ASC conducting the course and both Katie and Aaron nailed the air and ground evaluations. Katie did her first jump as an AFF instructor the next day while Aaron headed back up to our northeastern drop zone, Skydive Philadelphia, and will get much use of the rating as the weather warms up this spring.

Two of our recent AFF student program graduates, Michael McCrave and Todd Barrett, completed their A License requirements over the weekend. Michael and Todd are off to Ranger school and will return to ASC in two months. Good luck guys!

We had three students graduate the Accelerated Free Fall program at ASC this past week. Congrats to Jason Brock, Justin Diamond and Tim Osteen! We look forward to having all of you out on a weekly basis at ASC.and stocking the beer fridge!

4-way teams Airlock and Inviscid were training this weekend as the first Georgia Skydiving League meet is approaching. The teams plan on training two weekends a month for the rest of the year at Atlanta Skydiving Center.

See you all out for $15 Lift Ticket Wednesday! And check out our Calendar of Events as more events are being posted every week.
