It was a busy weekend at Atlanta Skydiving Center as experienced
jumpers, first-time jumpers and staff kept our Super Twin Otter pilot Henry
Schaefer busy all Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Thanks for putting up with us
jumpaholics Henry!
A big thanks to tandem instructors Rick Bray and Adam Wheeler as well
as freefall photographers Bruno Asmann and
Chuck Owen who came out on
Saturday to help our fulltime staff with our large volume of first-time
jumpers! Bruno caught an early flight back from business in Florida to help
out. It was great to work with you all day! The jumpers and staff look
forward to seeing more of you guys in the air over ASC.
On Sunday, Tyler Lawson had a swoop course setup over the main
landing area. Lawson competed in Florida on Saturday and was already practicing for
the next competition by Sunday morning at ASC!
A big congratulations is in order for Moshe Levy and Terry Walls, our
two newest AFF graduates. Their hard work on the ground and in the air paid
off! Moshe made several jumps immediately after completing the program and
is now close to his A-License after one week of jumping. Nice job! And Terry
is so hooked he is already looking into buying his own gear. Welcome to the
ASC family!
Make sure to check out manifestor Anne Kohaut's new Pink and Silver
Mirage up at Chuting Star Rigging Loft. She's awaiting her reserve so it can
be assembled, but she is very excited to finally be rid of that old
Javelin!
The Breakfast Club of Canopy Piloting got off two early loads on
Thursday before the clouds moved in. The group plans on starting early again
this Thursday. Wheels-up is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning
features $9 hop and pops as well as $15 full-altitude lift tickets until 10 a.m.
See you bright and early!
Don't forget $15 Wednesday...see you all this week!
